CPG is a dynamic and growing 45+ person regional architecture, interiors, and planning firm with offices in Stamford, CT and New York City.

Our clients are mostly corporate however we also work on a number of retail, educational and heathcare assignments.

CPG Salon
CPG has an established program for promoting design knowledge and intellectual growth that is extended to every employee. The program is a monthly Salon that is held outside of the office at various locations of architectural and/or design oriented importance.

Small groups (up to 5) sign up for the monthly excursion they are interested in, based on subject, but they will NOT know the exact location of the Salon until the actual day. The group meets prior to the trip to agree upon the day that works for everyone’s schedule, and also to discuss the selected reading or viewing requirements in addition to any other special needs for the specific trip. All trips are within one day and each person is responsible for their own materials and preparing for the Salon (i.e. books, sketchbooks, pens, or camera).

CPG extends this paid time away from the office to our employees for the purpose of promoting knowledge of architecture, design, and the environment. The trips also require the use of critical thinking, theory, and drawing, which are part of our everyday lives in the design field. The Salon is just another way of exercising those skills in a thought provoking setting. After each trip, the team is responsible for informally presenting their drawings, photos, and experiences to the company as a whole.
